To keep your next road trip rolling along, the nonprofit Car Care Council recommends a quick tire check before you leave. First, check that all tires, even the spare, are inflated to recommended levels. Next, check tire tread depth with a penny. If you see Lincoln’s head above the tread, it’s time for new tires.
