A powder clearcoat protects the beautyof a car’s highgloss finish, preserving its lustrous appearance and adding to its resale value. BMW and Volvo are already using powder clearcoats on many of their new cars, and select models by Lincoln, Chevrolet, Mercedes-Benz and Dodge use powder clearcoats or primers. DaimlerChrysler’s European Smart Car also uses powder coating on every bit of exposed metal.
