Read To Succeed Program Makes Reading Fun (NAPSA)—Parents don’t need to read between the lines to know how important reading is to school SUCCeSS. That’s why literacy programs such as the Read to Succeed procram are finding ways to encour- age children to read more. The Read to Succeed program has found an innovative way to challenge students in grades K-6 to read for fun, both in school and at home. The free program is underwritten and administered by Six Flags theme parks. Participation can earn students and teachers a free admission coupon for Six Flags parks. The Read to Succeed program sends participating schools two teaching kits each year. Each kit is based on a theme and contains an associated reading list. This year’s themes are “The Environ- ment” and “Diversity.” Schools also receive The 600-Minute Reading Club.
