Finding The Future Women Leaders Of America Saturday, March 1, 2003 Finding The Future Women Leaders Of America (NAPSA)—A new program will pay homage to someof the world’s most admirable women, while helping some of tomorrow’s future female leaders make the grade. The Arrid Total Women of Tomorrow Scholarship Program will award $18,000 in scholarships to three young women whopossess: Community stewardship— promoting participation in mean- ingful community activities and the ability to motivate others. Aclearvision of future goals. Strength of character— including depth of convictions and an unwavering commitment to integrity. Pioneering spirit—the courage to transcend barriers and exceed expectations. The scholarship program is the result of a partnership between The Women’s Museum (a Smithsonian affiliate) and Arrid Antiperspirant & Deodorant. The scholarship begins accepting nominations in March, to coincide with Women’s History Month. In addition to cash awards, the stories and accomplishments of the scholarship winners will be celebrated as part of a collectible card series that Arrid will distribute to schools. The cards will mark the accomplishments of extraordinary women of yesterday, today and tomorrow.
