Global Gathering Place (NAPSA)—Louisville, a city rich in African-Americanhistory, has just becomericher with the opening of the MuhammadAli Center. The 93,000, square-foot Ali Center will house exhibit space, classrooms, theaters, galleries, a library and function rooms. Boxing fans can visit a special area showcasingAli’s career. TRANSCENDING CULTURAL BouNDARIES— In mirroring the ideals of Muhammad Ali, the Center will seek to becomea global gathering place. The Center will draw on nontraditional museum experiences, interactive technology, multimedia theatre, partnering institutions, and most importantly, the ideals of Muhammad Ali in order to help guests from around the world explore what it means to be a humanbeingin the highest sense. Ali’s biographical storyline will be presented in interactive “Journeylines”—from his Louisville roots to his unprecedented boxing career, to his global humanitarianism.
