Canon and the Pro Football Hall of Fame are giving football and photography fans the opportunity to capture the fun, passion and excitement of youth football by entering their best football photos—everything from a playful catch in the backyard to any youth, school or organized football games, in the “Why Do You Love Football” photo challenge. Action And Feature Categories The nationwide amateur photo contest features two entry cate- gories: Action and Feature. The Action category focuses on any image that captures football action during game play, while the Feature category comprises any foot- ball imagery outside of game action on the field. New to this year’s contest is the addition of a teen division open to fans ages 13-18. A judging panel consisting of renowned sports photographer Peter Read Miller, Sports Illustrated; Archie Manning, former NFL quarterback and father of Indianapolis and New York star quarterbacks; and other prominent photographers will determine the group of 14 finalists in each division.
